Elevator Interior Design is pleased to announce the completion the cab interior fit-outs at 100 Summer Street, Boston MA as part of significant capital improvements to fully transform 100 Summer Street into a modern workplace and appeal to premier tenants.

EID was selected as the company of choice by Equity Office to assist with design refinement and the modernization of the twenty-one (21) elevator cab interiors for the 33-floor building.

EID worked closely with Equity Office, Otis Elevator and architectural firm Atelier Cho Thompson to refine cab design, details and finishes. The final design incorporated Galaxy etched, back-painted architectural glass, walnut wood veneer and Spinneybeck leather clad bronze custom machined handrails, all within EID’s proprietary wall panel perimeter trim and inlay system. The result is the perfect coupling of design refinement and cost-conscious efficiencies, while achieving the subtle elegance as requested by the owner.

Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) recently announced the successful completion of the sale of 100 Summer Street in Downtown Boston, Massachusetts on behalf of Blackstone and EQ Office to Rockpoint Group.
